Meet Nick Jagodzinski, Regional Clinical Coordinator
My name is Nick Jagodzinski. I'm the Clinical Coordinator for all of WCA's hospital partners in the Atlantic Region.
In the first five minutes of meeting me, you'll know I'm a nurse, I was in the military, I’m married, and I have two children.
I spent about eight years in the United States Army, including tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. I loved putting on my uniform because it represented something more than just myself. The number-one thing the military prepared me for, especially with nursing, is that it's not about me.
As a nurse for Wound Care Advantage, my chief priority is helping our hospital partners with wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy program operations. Nursing staff, physicians, and clinical coordinators don't have extra time to keep up with all the regulatory changes required for proper compliance. With me, they don't need to worry about researching any of that. They can call me and ask questions. I do all the research and provide answers as quickly as possible. I also frequently travel to our clinics and offer an extra hand if they’re in need of help with patient care, billing & coding, or anything else.
WCA’s ultimate goal is based on our first rule: “Patient Care is Everything.” We want to help self-managed wound care teams so they can spend more time with their patients. We also want them to be compliant and financially successful. As I said earlier, it’s not about me...
